GOmealplans is a meal planning, food, and activity logging tool developed by a registered dietitian, designed to be activated exclusively by authorized nutrition professionals such as dietitians or nutrition counselors. Access is granted through a secure login using credentials provided by your healthcare professional during the setup of your web-based cloud account.

Your personalized meal plan—including dietary recommendations, grocery list, daily caloric target, macronutrient distribution, and desired weight—is configured by your counselor within your cloud account and subsequently synchronized with the GOmealplans application. These nutritional and weight management objectives incorporate factors such as target weight, calorie and macronutrient goals, activity level, and other relevant considerations aimed at promoting better health, nutritional habits, and weight control.

Operationally, upon logging into the GOmealplans app, users can view the recommended daily meal plan dictated by their counselor, access the grocery list, log foods and physical activities, and track calories consumed or burned. The platform enables comparison of actual intake and expenditure against personalized targets. Additionally, the cloud-based aspect allows users to log information via a web portal; all data remains synchronized across devices, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date tracking. This logged data is accessible to your nutrition counselor for ongoing monitoring and tailored coaching.

The platform now offers integration with Apple Health, facilitating automatic synchronization of step counts and calorie expenditure. To activate this feature, users should log in to their profile, navigate to Settings, and enable “Apple Watch Sync” to maintain real-time updates of daily activity metrics.
